A variety of Cathedral activities provide opportunities for adults to grow in faith. Some are focused on learning and fellowship while others provide help to those in need in our community. Many do both.
The learning/fellowship opportunities include:
Sunday Forum ~ The Sunday Forum at 9:15am in the Great Hall of Jewett House, offered most Sundays mid-September through mid-May, considers a variety of topics relating to spiritual growth and living out Christian values in the real world. A variety of speakers from the Cathedral and the community give presentations that open discussion and reflection.
Mid-week Bible study ~ Wednesdays at 10:45am in the Conference Center, September through June.
Epiphany Film Series ~ Wednesday evenings, mid-January through mid-February. Dinner and a movie prompt conversation on theological and spiritual themes.
Lenten Family Evenings ~ Enriching programming for all ages is offered Wednesday evenings during Lent, from the Wednesday after Ash Wednesday through the Wednesday preceding Holy Week. Each evening begins with a celebration of the Eucharist in the Cathedral followed by supper in the Great Hall, then the program for the evening.
Inquirers Class ~ Wednesdays at 7pm for seven weeks, beginning just after Easter. Usually led by the Dean, these classes are opportunities to explore what it means to be a Christian and, in particular, what it means to be an Episcopalian.
