We are at the corner of South Grand Avenue and East 12th Avenue, just south and up the hill from Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Getting Here:
Northbound on Grand Ave: Turn to the right on E 13th Avenue just beyond the 7-Eleven and Starbucks; parking is on the left just beyond Lindaman's restaurant parking and a second lot is just beyond Cowley Street.
Southbound on Grand Ave: Turn to the left on E 13th Avenue just beyond the Lindaman's restaurant; parking is on the left just beyond the restaurant parking and beyond Cowley Street.
Arriving by Bus: From the downtown bus terminal, Take the 44 Bus toward 29th Avenue and get off at 13th Avenue Stop. From the South, take the 44 Bus toward downtown and get off at the 12th Avenue Stop.
From the East on I-90: Take exit 280B to merge onto S. Lincoln Street. Turn right at W 3rd Avenue. Take the 3rd right onto S Stevens Street. Slight left toward W 9th Avenue. Continue straight onto W 9th Avenue. W 9th Avenue turns slightly right and becomes S Grand Blvd. Turn left at E 13th Avenue. Take the 1st left onto S Cowley Street. Cowley Street turns left and becomes E 12th Avenue. The Cathedral is on the right.
From the West on I-90: Take exit 281 for Division Street. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for S Division Street. Turn right at S Division Street. Turn right at E 8th Avenue. Take the 1st left onto S McClellan Street. Turn left at W 9th Avenue. W 9th Avenue turns slightly right and becomes S Grand Blvd. Turn left at E 13th Avenue. Take the 1st left onto S Cowley Street. Cowley Street turns left and becomes E 12th Avenue. The Cathedral is on the right.
Handicapped Access
Stairless access to the Cathedral is available through the Welcome Center located just to the east of the Sanctuary on 12th Avenue. By car, enter via the driveway at the east end of the Cathedral property near the junction of S. Cowley Street and E 12th Avenue and immediately turn left onto the drive that runs in front of Jewett House Education Wing and the Welcome Center Entrance. Unload passengers for level access to the Church and Education Wings. Handicapped Parking is provided at the east end of Jewett House.

Parking lot 1: To the left just beyond Lindaman's restaurant parking
Parking lot 2: Just beyond S. Cowley Street, on the left
Handicapped parking: East end of Jewett House (big building at the east end of the church). Driveway access is at 12th Avenue and S. Cowley Street.
Dropoffs can be made the South Transept Entrance or Welcome Center Entrance on E. 12th Avenue but street parking is limited to the south side of E. 12th Avenue and E. Sumner Avenue. |
