St. John's Cathedral is a center for prayer, worship, music, study, community, and service for the greater Spokane region. You are a beloved child of God. We welcome you just as you are, because God has welcomed and loved us in the same way.
St. John's is the cathedral, or mother church, of the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane, which is the regional branch of the Episcopal Church in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

If you are interested in visiting-whether to tour the architecture, find a few quiet moments for prayer, light a candle, or snap some photos of the building-we welcome you! Self-guided tours and drop-in visits are available from Monday through Friday, from 10am to 4pm. Guided tours are available on Fridays from 12pm to 3pm.

As we celebrate 100 years of Spokane's Cathedral, St. John's offers a detailed look at the foundations of the Christian faith in the Inland Northwest. This exhibition is based on the history of Spokane and the greater Inland Northwest prior to the construction of the current Episcopal cathedral (1929). The floor-level stained glass windows around the nave depict the spread of the Christian message from Jerusalem to Spokane, giving form and color to the museum-style exhibits that are scattered throughout the cathedral space.
Bibles and religious books owned by Spokane Garry (Slough-Keetcha) will be on display inside the Cathedral on September 19, October 10, and November 7, on loan from the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture.
