The people of St. John’s are dedicated to service and outreach. Our parish and community ministries seek to provide food, clothing, housing, and support to those in need. Everyone is invited to join in this important work.

Serving the Parish

Worship Ministries

There are many ways for lay people, who are not ordained, to get involved in worship. You can serve behind the scenes or help up front.

Hospitality Ministries

Many people work to make everyone feel welcome and cared for when they come to St. Johns.

Serving the Community

St. John’s Properties

This organization is focused on increasing the availability of affordable housing in Spokane by managing several residential properties.

Windfall Thrift Store

This secondhand store is entirely staffed by volunteers who collect, sort, and display clothes and household items, then serve customers from the South Perry neighborhood.

Community Garden

Volunteers help maintain this garden where people from the community work their own raised bed.

Community Partners

St. John’s partners with many organizations to serve the wider Spokane community. Click here to see how to get involved in one of these partnerships.

Marsden Scholarship

This scholarship program was established to support promising students from the Inland Northwest to pursue higher education at notable universities.
