We want every child and family to find experiences that enrich their lives and help them along their spiritual journeys as they grow and change. To this end, we have regular meetings, like Sunday School, but also special times to celebrate and fellowship together as a church family. Because faith is formed at home also, we strive to equip and encourage parents and caregivers as they raise children of God.

Sunday Nursery

The nursery is available in All Saints' Chapel (adjacent to the south transept entrance) for young children, ages 0-5, during the 10:30am service.

Sunday School

Sunday school meets Sunday mornings during our program year (September-June) from 9:15-10:15am.

All children start together and then split into primary (K-2), intermediate (3-5), and middle school (6-8) groups to learn about God, the Bible, and Christian faith. After lessons, we come back together for snacks, activities, and fellowship.

Primary (K-2)

Our primary class uses Godly Play.  It is a Montessori-based curriculum with manipulatives and visuals that invites children to wonder and respond creatively. Children often explore the Cathedral and grounds, reading sacred space and creation as God’s gift.

Intermediate (3-5)

For the intermediate class, we use Peter Ennis' Telling God's Story series-it is a deep-dive into Jesus' life and teaching.  There’s more Bible work and contemplation of our own spirituality but still leaves times for games and play.

Middle School (6-8)

Our middle school class is using Mini-Revolutions from Illustrated Ministry. It is based on the Revised Common Lectionary and begins to connect what we learn in Sunday school to the liturgy and our larger faith-community life.

Junior Choir

The Junior Choir is composed of children from ages 8-12. They sing periodically at the 10:30am Sunday worship service, September through early June. They also sing during special services on Christmas Eve and Easter, and other major Cathedral events.

Rehearsals: Sundays, 9:00-9:15am
